VIEWPARK, a virtual studio with a global reach founded by film industry veterans Krysanne Katsoolis and Jack M. Dalgleish, have picked up three projects from Monaco-based filmmaker Marco Orsini.
Globally renowned director Marco Orsini’s film, Beyond The Raging Sea, the amazing true-life rescue story of adventurers Omar Samra and Omar Nour, is ready for all sales and distribution opportunities. The film follows the two Omar’s, affectionately dubbed ‘O2’, as they set off on the world’s toughest rowing race – an unsupported, 3,000 nautical mile journey across the Atlantic Ocean. Team O2 dedicated their row to raising awareness of the global refugee crises. In an ironic twist, Nour and Samra faced the same dangers, terrors and decisions of those they meant to recognize and relieve. In this film, an elite adventure introduces us to extraordinary people in exceptional circumstance, navigating existential threats and grueling ordeals, fighting for survival and what comes after.
Latin Four Plus, a documentary in post-production, follows one man’s 50-year journey to live his dream. In 1969, Colonel Mario Orsini bent the rules to assemble a band among Puerto Rican and Mexican draftees, changed their deployment orders to send them all to South Korea, instead of Vietnam, and for the next 13-months of their service, Latin 4 Plus practiced, performed, and enjoyed the time of their young lives, playing American songs with Caribbean flair for Korean and GI audiences. 50 years later, Colonel Orsini (ret’d), reunites the band to record a CD and rehearse a concert for a conference at which he is being honored. As his son, filmmaker Marco Orsini, says, “He is doing it. He is fulfilling his dream. It is all about the journey and not about the end result.”
American Way, is a narrative feature in development. 1976, the year of the bicentennial, and desegregation, Jimmy Carter and Studio 54, and in a small Georgia town, one remarkable family is staking its claim to the American Dream.

Marco Orsini is an award-winning filmmaker who began his career in 1995, producing, writing and directing live and prerecorded programming for English and Spanish Language network and cable television. His films include Beyond The Raging Sea (2019), Gray Matters (2014), Dinner at the No-Go’s (2012) and The Reluctant Traveler (2009). Marco is the co-founder and current President of the Monaco-based International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA), a non-governmental organization that identifies, supports and mentors filmmakers from emerging economies, connecting them to a global industry that needs new stories and perspectives.
